Width

Step 1: Measuring Your Width
Before You Measure – Check Your Depth First
Before taking any width measurements, make sure there is enough space for your blind to function properly. For our vertical blinds, you’ll need a minimum depth of 75mm from the furthest obstruction to the front of the recess.
Measuring Your Recess Width
To get an accurate fit, measure the width of your recess in at least three different places. Use the smallest measurement as your final width when placing your order to ensure a perfect fit.
Drop

Step 2: Measuring Your Drop
Measuring Your Recess Drop
Measure the height of your recess in at least three different spots where you plan to install your blind. Use the smallest measurement as your final drop when placing your order. This measurement includes the full height of the blind, covering both the slats and the headrail.

Width

Step 1: Measuring Your Width
If you want your blind made to your exact sizes or plan to fit it outside the recess, choose the Exact Size option. This means the blind will be manufactured to the precise dimensions you provide, with no deductions made.
Measuring the Width
Decide how much you’d like the blind to overlap your window recess on each side. This overlap helps improve light control and privacy.
Recommended Overlap – We suggest at least 50mm on each side (adding a total of 100mm to your width measurement). This ensures better coverage and a more polished look.
💡 Tip: Check for any obstructions, such as light switches or furniture, to ensure the blind can operate smoothly.
A wider overlap will also help reduce light seepage, making the blind more effective at blocking out external light.
Drop

Step 2: Measuring Your Drop
First, decide where you want the headrail to be positioned. Measure from the top of the headrail down to where you want the slats to end. This drop measurement includes the entire blind, covering both the slats and the headrail.
Recommended Overlap:
- Top Overlap – We suggest extending the blind at least 50mm above the window recess for better coverage.
- Bottom Overlap – If there are obstructions such as a radiator, the bottom overlap may be limited. If your window sill protrudes more than 50mm, the blind should align with this point. Otherwise, the bottom overlap is a personal preference.
This ensures a well-fitted blind with optimal light control and aesthetics.
