Shutter Slat Size It's all down to personal preference. Large slats offer a more contemporary look and let in slightly more light, while smaller slats suit more traditional homes. Keeping the slat size in proportion to the window size can help deliver a good design. Tip – request the correct depth of frame for larger slats, especially when you also have a window handle to consider.

Shutter Tilt Rod Off Centered connects slats with a traditional rod on the front & left of the panel. Hidden Tilt bar is on the reverse of panel door (the hinged side)

Shutter Midrail A mid rail is a 76mm sized fixed horizontal rail within the panel. It can add strength to taller panels or can cover window bars & handles for a clean design look. Slats operate independently above & below a mid-rail. Shutters taller than 1800mm require 1xMR. Shutters taller than 2400mm require 2xMR. A MR position can be requested. Tell us it's “Critical” if your desired position must not move. Refer to our Tech Spec for more information.
